1. The Ready Rooftop - East Village
The Ready at Moxy East Village gives off the energy of a relaxed—yet refined—NYC backyard. The eclectic decor, complete with a bar made of plastic milk crates, presents the perfect amount of playfulness and offers a welcome escape from the daily New York grind.
We recommend spritzing on our Ashton scent for The Ready; this bar is as light and refreshing as the hints of lemon and bergamot found in this fragrance.
2 A.R.T. - NoMad
Whether you live in NYC or are visiting for a long weekend, the Empire State Building is a show stopper—and the rooftop bar at the Arlo NoMad Hotel has an amazing view of it, not to mention a glass floor “sky walk” that you’ll definitely want to post on your feed.
Hunter is a clear choice for this location because it hits new heights with its sensual musk and overdose of raw vanilla that will make you feel this city is yours for the taking.
3. Happy Be - SoHo
Happy Be can be found on top of the Walker Hotel in Soho, where you’ll enjoy great views of the skyline among perfectly placed greenery that freshens up the vibe.
Sweet notes will blend perfectly with the natural woody scents found here. Riley's vanilla and hazelnut complement the wooden lounges and seating.
4. Honey's - Bushwick
Honey’s is known for producing small-batch meads, wines, cider, and bottled cocktails. Whether you want to stop by after work to unwind or drop in on the weekend to dance, our Scentologists recommend a spritz of Reed—the sage and rose will perfectly complement the organic smells from the micro-mead.
5. Make Believe - Lower East Side
Located on top of the Sixty LES, Make Believe is a trendy, tropical-themed cocktail bar with two outdoor terraces. Designed with a chic pink interior, this place will have you feeling like the coolest version of yourself!
Blake is our scent of choice here, since it carries a light tone of floral scents from the tiare flower and lotus that match perfectly with Make Believe’s ultra-pink vibe.
6. RH Rooftop Restaurant - Meatpacking
If you’re looking for something more than just drinks and hors d'oeuvres, Restoration Hardware has a large rooftop restaurant in the Meatpacking District. The interior design is exactly what you might expect from the luxury lifestyle company. To match it, try our Jayden scent; the hints of cedarwood and sandalwood musk are reflective of Restoration Hardware’s sophisticated aesthetic and sensibility.
7. Westlight - Williamsburg
This Brooklyn-based bar has a dynamic menu of original and classic cocktails alongside rare spirits, craft beer, and wine. Their rooftop offers a great view of Williamsburg, as well as Manhattan.
Our Scentologists recommend spritzing our Cam scent and ordering the “House of the Setting Sun” cocktail. Notes of Violet leaf, combined with the plum and yuzu in the cocktail, will have you feeling like you’re relaxing under a cherry blossom tree.
8. Zona De Cuba - Bronx
A must-visit when you’re in the Bronx, Zona de Cuba has a large rooftop dance floor that hosts a live salsa band. The restaurant has huge chandeliers, a booth made from the back of an old-school Chevy, and a bunch of life-sized props to fill up your camera roll.
Taylor is our go-to scent for this Bronx-based bar. The tuberose adds a fresh kick, just like this upbeat bar in a spirited borough.
9. The Greens - FiDi
The Greens is the newest rooftop bar in the Seaport District. There you’ll find multiple individual mini-lawns that each have umbrellas, love seats, and enough lounge chairs to host a large group of people. Along with food and drinks, they also have a 32-feet wide screen that streams live sports games.
Our Scentologists recommend a spritz of the Lulu, as this is the perfect place for the hints of gentle orris and rich tonka beans to be a subtle guest at the outdoor party.
